Hello, I'm
Amy weiss

and It's a pleasure to meet you.
I'm a mom of six—yes, six (including my step-kids!)—ranging from teenagers in college all the way down to a baby. So, needless to say, I’m pretty comfortable with a little chaos, a lot of personalities, and the occasional meltdown.
Being a mom has given me a front-row seat to just how quickly childhood flies by. I’ve learned to appreciate the silly, messy, loud, sweet, completely imperfect moments that somehow become the ones you miss the most.
That’s a huge part of why I fell in love with photography.
I’ve always loved taking pictures of my own family, but somewhere along the way, I realized how much I love capturing the people behind the pictures—their personalities, their connection, their laughter, and all those little moments that make a family uniquely theirs.
After years in a completely different career, I decided to take a leap and follow my passion for photography. I’m starting this new adventure with a camera in my hands, six kids keeping me on my toes, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s ahead.
And when it comes to photographing kids, I get it. They don’t always want to sit still. They may not smile on command. They might show up wearing mismatched socks or decide halfway through the session that they’re officially done cooperating. And honestly? That’s okay.
I want your kids to have fun. Run around. Be silly. Laugh. Get a little messy. Be themselves.
Because the best photographs aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. Sometimes they’re the ones where everyone is laughing, someone is making a ridiculous face, and you can practically hear the moment when you look at the photo years later.
My goal is simple: to make your family feel comfortable, have a little fun, and capture the kind of memories you’ll never want to forget.
So bring the kids, bring the chaos, bring the real smiles—and I’ll bring the camera.
My approach
I believe the best photographs aren’t always the perfectly posed ones—they’re the moments in between. The genuine smiles, the belly laughs, the quiet connections, and the little details you never want to forget.
My approach is relaxed, natural, and centered around making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether I’m capturing a family, a senior, or an athlete, I want your images to feel like you—authentic, joyful, and full of personality.
I’m here to create more than beautiful photographs. I want to preserve the feeling of this season of your life, so years from now, you can look back and remember exactly how it felt to be there.
